Terms of Service Beta
Summary. Depovian is a free browser game-simulator in open Beta. By registering you confirm you have read and accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not create an account or use the service.
Authoritative language. The Ukrainian Terms at /terms prevail if this English text differs.
1. Service
1.1. Depovian is an online station duty officer (DSP) simulator: desk, schematics, timetable, routes, shunting, and related features.
1.2. Provided as-is in Beta; features, balance, availability, progress, and UI may change without notice.
1.3. Not an official Ukrzaliznytsia (or any railway) trainer; does not grant authority over real train movement.
2. Acceptance
2.1. Registration requires accepting these Terms (and updates published before you register).
2.2. Continued use after material updates constitutes acceptance unless stated otherwise.
2.3. If you are under 18, use the service only with parental consent where required by law.
3. Account
3.1. You are responsible for accurate registration data, password security, and all activity on your account.
3.2. One player — one primary account. No sharing access, bypassing the one-live-shift rule, or mass accounts to manipulate rankings.
3.3. We may restrict, suspend, or close access for violations, abuse, security, or legal requirements when reasonable.
4. Acceptable use
- No attacks, exploitation, or cheating that distorts simulation or rankings;
- No offensive or unlawful user-generated text (nicknames, etc.);
- Do not impersonate official railway products or access others’ sessions or admin tools.
5. Beta, availability, game data
No guarantee of uptime or preservation of progress. Rankings and stats may change or reset as the product evolves.
6. Intellectual property
Limited, revocable, non-exclusive license for personal non-commercial play. No bulk scraping or resale without permission except as allowed by law.
7. Personal data
We process minimal data (email, password hash, nickname, session logs, game stats) for auth, security, simulation, and support. We do not sell personal data.
8–9. Warranties and liability
Service provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited; aggregate cap is fees paid in the last 12 months (zero for free Beta) or the minimum required by law. Consumer rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service or request account deletion. We may end or change Beta at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, unless mandatory consumer protection where you live requires otherwise. Disputes should be resolved in good faith; courts per applicable law.
